Royal Wedding or a Love Triangle?
By Chris Aykroid May 18, 2018
Another royal wedding is about to happen! The hype and news coverage is huge and everybody is really looking forward to it. My neighbor has invited gals over at 5:30 a.m
(thats in the morning), to watch the wedding. They are all dressing up and wearing English style fancy hats, you know kind of like the one the Queen Elizabeth wears. Make no mistake, Mimosas will be served!
Despite the fact that after the Queen herself, Harry's Father Prince Charles and brother William would have to be out of the picture, making him third in line for the throne. It really is a rare occasion though, not only a prince getting married, it's also Diana's second son.
He is marrying, unless you've been under a rock, Meghan Markle, a U.S. citizen, American television personality and a beautiful woman. Some fuss has been made over her mixed race ancestry, which in this day and age is important for some, no biggie for others. That is a subject for a future blog post.
The interesting thing for me, is that I recently caught several seasons of the USA television series "Suits", a drama that is about a high powered law firm in NYC. A friend said it was good and I discovered it was on Amazon Video. Great show, I enjoyed it, but it "jumped the shark" like in the 6th season, which is good because the 7th season you have to pay extra for. It seemed like the biggest plot device was lawyers handing documents to other lawyers.
With all that being said, I loved Meghan in this show! She is easy to look at and performed very well. I am sad to see her leave the series but happy she has a new job.
The point of this article is the question; what is real and what is fantasy? The above photo is meant to be humorous, but think about it, Isn't the "New York lawyer thing" more realistic than marrying a prince in England?
Congratulations Prince Harry and Meghan!
